High Power LED Downlights
Delivering light output for general room lighting
These Solid-State lights use a higher wattage LED array to produce the light output required to provide general room lighting. These fixtures produce over 400 lumens of warm white light; similar light output to a standard 50-60W light bulb. The fixtures are designed to fit standard hole sizes and may be adapted to standard Canlight/Downlight/Potlight housings and heatboxes.
The power savings over traditional fixtures is significant and, as with all LED's, the lifetime is 15-20X that of incandescent and CFL's while producing very minimal heat loss. For example; after running 24 hours straight, our fixture is warm to the touch----running a traditional fixture for only a few minutes will burn your finger to touch!
Please note: Although they produce far less heat output, you should still consult your local building codes or a liscenced electrical contractor prior to installation. Protective housings or heat boxes may still be required for insulated areas.
